Doug Layman
Managing Partner, Arve Capitol Management
Doug is a partner with Arve Capital Management and an angel investor. He and his wife, Daisy, are the co-founders of Kadix Systems, a management consulting firm focused on the federal government.
Prior to Kadix Systems, Doug was the CEO of CareerRewards, Inc. a venture-funded Internet-based recruiting software company. He also managed customer care systems for Verizon and spent nine years as a management consultant with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) focused on management consulting, organizational change management, and large-scale systems.
Doug graduated from Oregon State University in 1987 with a B.S. in industrial engineering. As a student, he participated in Cardinal Key and Thanes honorary societies and Tau Beta Pi engineering society. Doug also holds an M.B.A. from Georgetown University.
