As president and CEO of BendBroadband, Amy built a highly regarded company known for technology leadership, customer service and corporate citizenry. Through industry advocacy she helped shape national telecom policy. Family-owned BendBroadband was sold to Telecom and Data Systems in 2014.
During her 32 years in the cable industry, Amy served on the boards of the National Cable and Telecommunications Association, CableLabs, C-SPAN and Oregon Cable Telecommunications Association. Currently Amy is the managing trustee of the Tykeson Family Foundation, overseeing operations and contributions to education, healthcare and the arts. She is a board member of OHSU and OPB and a member of Central Oregon Regional Solutions Advisory Council.
Amy has been inducted into the Cable Hall of Fame and has received the NCTA’s Vanguard Award for Distinguished Leadership, OSU-Cascades’ Distinguished Service Award, the Central Oregon Community College Citizen of the Year Award, and Portland Business Journal’s Orchid Award.
Amy holds a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA from the University of Oregon.
